Image File F.A.Q.

If you're having trouble deciding which files or file-types are right for your current project, please review these common questions and answers.
1) "What is the difference between High Resolution, and Low Resolution?"
High resolution images typically have a resolution of 300 dpi or greater. Anything below 100 dpi is considered low resolution. The rule of thumb is, the higher the resolution, the more clean, clear, and crisp the finished product will be.
2) "What is the best file-type to print from?"
A vector file (.EPS or .AI) is typically the best file-type to work with because vector based files are independent of resolution. We can expand the image as large as we need without losing image quality.
3) "I don't have high-resolution files, what do I do?"
If you have image files, but they're not high resolution, we have graphic design resources that can recreate your image. If you don't have image files at all, we can refer you to someone that can work with you to create the right look for your project.
